    Activating the Law of Attraction

Whether you realize it or not, everything you’re thinking at any given moment, is in fact attracting similar thoughts, energy, and actions to come into your life. We all know people who have unmistakable energy. Some people drag themselves out of bed each morning, curse the traffic the entire commute to work, complain to co-workers all day long, and return home just as miserable as when they left. Then there are others, who emit a positive energy of gratitude, giving, peace and joy no matter what curve balls get thrown their way.

It’s no wonder that the Negative Nancy’s of the world can spend decades or even entire lifetimes living a ho-hum existence without ever realizing their full potential. Their positively radiant counterparts meanwhile, do circles around them in an almost effortless fashion. In a world where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, it’s easy to play the blame game and point fingers at those things and those people we feel are holding us back. However, the truth is, that your life is a physical manifestation of the thoughts in your head. Focusing on what’s not working will only cause more things not to work. Focusing instead on what you want to happen will allow you to build upon your successes, no matter how small, and help you grow exponentially over time.

Philosophers, scientists, and physicians have studied and confirmed for centuries how powerful the mind can be in shaping our health and happiness. It's something called the Law of Attraction. I first learned of it when I saw the movie The Secret a while back. If you haven't seen it, I highly suggest checking it out!

The Law of Attraction states that whatever you’re thinking and feeling today becomes your future. So many people spend too much time either focused on the past or being scared to go after what they really want in life.

“I’m not smart enough to ever get that executive position.”

“I’m not attractive enough to meet that perfect someone.”

“This is how everyone in my family is.”

“I’m just not disciplined enough to lose the weight or improve my health.”

Well if that’s the way you’re thinking…guess what? You’re probably right! Listen, all of us have struggles in our past and present, but it’s the way we choose to think about things and where we choose to focus our energy that ultimately determines the quality of life that we’ll enjoy. It’s important to continually set new goals and always look ahead to the future with a positive energy placed towards the things we want.

Beyond just thinking about things in a positive way, you need to envision yourself living a healthy, happy, abundant life and really start to FEEL that you can. Putting things on paper is one of the best ways to keep goals and dreams forefront in your mind. Making a vision board is a powerful tool to help you organize your thoughts, create a renewed focus and passion for your dreams, and to start making those things become your reality.

All it takes is a $1 investment and willingness to try something new. Why not right?! Check out my video to see how I've used vision boards to stay focused and keep working towards my own goals. You'll see just how easy it can be to activate the Law of Attraction and start making your own dreams become your reality.
